Today is a leisure day we are travelling back up to North Norfolk to continue our walk around England. Using only public transport for a change & walking from stop to stop with overnight stays.
The day starts OK but the 166 bus from outside our house is delayed but finally arrived 26 minutes late!
After a bus ride down into Epsom Town it's a short hop to Epsom station where we are boarding the train to London Waterloo followed by a tube to Bank, a short walk to Liverpool Street main line where we catch the 11.30 to Norwich.
Our fellow passenger advised us that when we arrive at Norwich we should go out of the station straight across the road & follow the river side walk to Norwich cathedral.
The journey is smooth & uneventful & departing the station we followed the advice of our fellow passenger & walk to the river.
It's a lovely walk alongside the river on what has turned into the hottest day of the year, arriving at the cathedral we enter, it's a magnificent building & we take the free guided tour. So much information from a knowledgeable guide the tour lasts for about an hour.
