The Route so long I need two screen shots!
The first bus is a few minutes late but no worries yet we have 10 minutes to play with, with no traffic it's a good journey, enjoying the ride on the top deck front seats we admire the vista.
Mission accomplished, we arrive at the Tesco at Saltham no bus station just a bus stop this is the link point & there are people waiting at the stop, good news it hasn't been & gone. The bus service is spot on & we arrive at beach lane Happisburgh the exact spot we stopped at on our last visit to Norfolk.
It's a very hot & humid day with the sun 🌞 blazing down. We hear on the news later that it's now hottest September on record. We walk at 10:13 & head towards to Sea Palling where we take our first café of the day, a lovely welcome iced coffee & coffee ice cream 🍦 Back on the path we come across seals basking on the beach & playing in the surf, they appear to be playing games demanding eye contact or they started barking at us!
The sea mist a welcome break from the relentless sun rolls in but reduces visibility we are walking between the sea lapping at our feet and the soft dusty sand up in the dunes which is hard going.
Another welcome café falafel, houmous & salad which is really good, it's a shame we won't pass it again.
More dunes follow but we eventually arrive at our luxury chalet, unfortunately too late for a dip in the pool.
