Another day another walk, weather is set to fair no rain forecast so we catch the Coast hopper bus to Cromer to start our walk down the coast, we have been offered a lift back so there is no pressure on finding busses or trains we just need to walk as far as we feel we need to so our end is unknown until we get there!
Starting again at the pier but walking in the opposite direction along the promenade then onto the beach past the crabbing boats on trailers behind rusting tractors all with signs of wear & tare from the hard work that they are doing.
Past leaning beach huts battered by the east coast winds blowing in from across the north sea. The tide is high & slowly more beach is uncovered & we are able to walk on the hard wet sand.
Then we are up on the cliff tops past golden wheat fields blowing gently in the breeze. Through woods & lovely meadows.

From here on we will be at sea level hard wet, sand pebbles, concrete sea defences are all at our feet. The sea defences are trying to keep the sea from eroding the cliff faces by calming the water as it crashes onto our shores, the difference is noticeable where the defences have been swept aside by the sea.
Nearing Happisburgh the erosion of cliffs becomes very noticeable with pipes & wires sticking out of the cliffs & huge piles of collapsed cliff faces on the beach. Climate change is with us rising sea levels will only make scenes like these more common.
