We start the day with a lift from Maria to the end of a muddy track (Meadow lane) leading down to the beach at the Quag. It's then onto the beach just a few pebbles!
The path follows the road for a short distance passing Picnic Fayre a gem of a shop with some lovely fresh fruits displayed outside, we pick some huge cherries & Apricots from the boxes putting them into brown paper bags & entering the shop to be greeted by lovely staff & a huge range of bakery products, all fresh, so what should we do? Buy some cakes as well! Ginger & pair cake, a Florentine & a fresh pork pie are purchased along with the fruit.
It's a very busy path plenty of dog walkers & we are soon passing through Morston & Stiffkey striding our way to Wells-Next-The-Sea.
Skirting the marshes with some fascinating formations in the mud we are soon into the final miles of our walk & eventually come into Wells-Next-The-Sea our final destination for the day.
